Torah Treks: A multi-year journey through the Hebrew Bible
- 2012 - 2013: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel
- 2013 - 2014: begins in November.
- 2015-2016: Ketuviim.
- 2016-2017: Prophets
Ten sessions, after Shabbat morning services
Opening Judaism
Meets once a month at Beth Israel, 10:00am-11:30am, beginning Oct 5, for a total of eight sessions.
Who is this class for?
- People who are educating Jewish children and yearn for a deeper understanding of what they offer their kids. And what a great model you will be for them!
- People who are beginning their relationship with Judaism and seek an adult understanding of Jewish life.
- People who feel that their Jewish education stopped short of the mature version of the tradition.
- Anyone who would like to engage in meaningful Jewish learning.
Teacher: Rabbi Helen Plotkin.
Thanks to an anonymous grant, this class is FREE for members of Beth Israel!
Tuition: $100 for non-members.
