Whole Kids Foundation Support for Garden
Whole Kids Foundation Support for Garden
In 2023 Beth Israel was awarded a Whole Kids Foundation Garden Grant. This grant will not only help us to expand our garden-based education within our Hebrew School in 2023 and beyond, but we were also able to leverage the grant monies to expand our raised bed garden from three to four beds, install a drip irrigation system for the beds, and to begin to plan a pollinator garden as well. For more information about the integration of our garden into our curricular work, feel free to be in touch with Beth Israel’s Education Director, eddirector@bethisraelmedia.org. And if you would like to get involved in our gardening project, please contact sustainability@bethisraelmedia.org.
