1. Rabbi Richard Hirsh 

We are grateful to Rabbi Richard Hirsh for returning to teach various classes at Beth Israel. A collection of his classes through the years can be found by clicking the above link. 

2. Torah Treks

Torah Treks is a recurring program where we gather for lunch and study. Teachers and topics vary each month.

3. The Raz Lecture

The annual Raz Lecture honors the memory of BI member Jonathan Raz, who passed away in 2000. We honor his memory through ongoing learning and celebration. 

4. Guest Rabbis  

In November and December 2020, the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association, under the leadership of Rabbi Elyse Wechterman, facilitated an opportunity for movement rabbis who were not leading High Holiday services for congregations to offer to provide teaching and service leading for their pulpit colleagues after High Holidays during the month of Heshvan. Beth Israel was grateful to benefit from this initiative and invited three guest teachers during the month. 

5. Earth Month Learning Activities, April, 2021 

In April 2021, BI's adult education committee organized a series of classes and discussions connected with the themes of earth month.
