Passover 5784 at Beth Israel
We are delighted to be celebrating Passover with you at Beth Israel in a variety of ways. In addition to our home celebration this can be a wonderful time to connect with the BI community. Please note below the variety of upcoming events and we hope to see you at some time during our holiday of liberation.
Sunday April 14th - 9:45am-11:15am: BI Young People's Seder
Young people from our community are welcome to join the Hebrew School for our Young person's seder this year at BI. Please RSVP to Mikayla Losanowych (mikayla.losanowych@
Tuesday April 23rd - 5:45 pm: Second Night Seder at BI led by Rabbi Nathan
This year's second night seder will be ecologically themed and will draw from a special Haggadah created by Rabbi Ellen Bernstein z"l. The seder will be potluck and we can use some extra volunteers for set up and clean up as well. To register for the Seder, click on this registration link. Wednesday April 24th - 8:30 am on Zoom: Brief Pesach Service with Rabbi Linda
This brief service will be integrated into our regular weekly spiritual practice offering.
Saturday April 27th - 9:45 at BI: Shabbat Pesach Service with Rabbi Linda and BI Chorus
This festive "Hol Hamoed Shabbat" Passover service will include selections from Hallel, along with other Passover themed prayers and readings. Feel free to bring a kosher for passover snack for oneg after the service.
Sunday April 28th - 8pm on Zoom: Pesach service with Yizkor with Rabbi Linda
For the final day of Passover (according to our Reconstructionist practice at Beth Israel) we will be including in our zoom service an opportunity for members to say yizkor.
