Mad Hatters Celebrate Hats for Hope on MLK Day 2015

On Martin Luther King Day, January 19, 2015, Congregation Beth Israel had 14 “mad hatters” in the Sanctuary to knit, crochet and loom “Hats for Hope” More than a dozen items were donated with more to come. Gratitude is given to all who participated but, especially to the event’s coordinators and teachers, Judy Kinman, Lynn Cashell, Merdie Gilmore and Joyce Romoff. 

Just a reminder; this is a year round project so keep those hooks & needles going. Also, donations of knitting needles (8, 9), crochet hooks (3, 4)  and worsted weight yarn are always welcome. Please contact Judy Kinman or Elaine Wasekanes to collect your donations.
