Outdoor  Shofar & Tashlich Event for Tots, Teens & The Whole Community
with Rabbi Linda & Rabbi Nathan at 4pm at Ridley Creek

Conditions permitting, we will be assembling at a Ridley Creek for a brief Tashlich gathering – a symbolic casting off of last year’s sins by tossing bread crumbs into a body of flowing water, so that we start the New Year with a clean slate. We will also hear the sound of the shofar. Teens are invited to stay for a discussion group afterwards.

WHEN:       RH 1, Tuesday September 7th at 4pm
WHERE:    Ridley Creek State Park, Gathering in the parking lot at the park entrance located at the intersection of Chapel Hill Road and Barren Road. 
PARKING: There are limited parking spaces but there is also some additional parking on Chapel Hill Road east of the entrance.
BRING:      For tashlich feel free to bring either bread crumbs or small pebbles (an environmentally friendly alternative) for your "casting." 
TEENS:     Nancy Blank will lead a teen discussion group following shofar sounding and tashlich.
