Yom Kippur Day Services (in person)
Thursday, October 2, 2025 • 10 Tishrei 5786
10:00 AM - 7:30 PMJoin our Rabbis in person at Congregation Beth Israel or online for Yom Kippur services. This sanctuary service is geared towards adults and more mature children. A half-hour family service starting at 9:30 a.m. will be held in our downstairs social hall. Child care is available as well. Please plan to register for childcare downstairs anytime after 9:00 am if your child(ren) will be attending.
Morning sanctuary services begin at 10:00 am and will include the major Yom Kippur prayers, as well as Torah chanting and study. The Yizkor service is expected to start at about 12:45 pm. We will then reconvene at Beth Israel starting at 3:00 pm for a drum circle. We will transition into a healing service at 3:45 pm, have an opportunity for learning and conversation at 4:15 pm, and will have Mincha, Avodah, Martyrology, and Neilah services starting at 5:00 pm. At approximately 7:15 pm, we will end Yom Kippur with a shofar blast and Havdalah.
