Tashlich Picnic - Pray and Play
Monday, September 30, 2019 • 1 Tishrei 5780
2:00 PM - 4:00 PMWith Congregation Ohev Shalom.
SmedleyPark (15 minutes from BI) 20 Paper Mill Road Springfield PA
Tashlich is the symbolic casting off of last year’s sins by tossing a piece of bread into a body of flowing water so that we start the New Year with a clean slate.
Picnic: A light lunch will be provided. RSVP to office or website strongly encouraged so we have enough food.
Pray: Participate in a short Tashlich ceremony led by Rabbi Nathan Martin & the rabbi (s) from Congregation Ohev Shalom. Bread will be provided.
Play: Bring some outdoor or indoor games to play (softball, kickball, kites, frisbees, card or board games) and we can have some fun with members of Congregation OhevShalom.
**If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we still go to the park, eat in the pavilions and play card/board games.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
