Tashlich and Shofar Program in Smedley Park

Conditions permitting, we will be assembling after Rosh Hashanah day 1 services at Smedley Park (20 Paper Mill Road Springfield PA).

Bring your own picnic lunch to eat when you arrive. Then, we will have a brief Tashlich ceremony – a symbolic casting off of last year’s sins by tossing bread crumbs into a body of flowing water, so that we start the New Year with a clean slate. We will also hear the sound of the shofar.
