TUESDAYS MARCH 4, 11, & 18 ON ZOOM

2. The emergence in rabbinic literature 2,000 years ago of the roots of our liturgy. The evolution up to the earliest datable siddurim in the 8-10th centuries. The impact of the printing press and the first mass-produced prayerbooks, and the drift into standardization.
3. The perceived problems of liturgy in the 19th -20th century and attempts to adapt.
