Through the auspices of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College Kleinbaum Internship, we are pleased to welcome to Beth Israel Janine Jankovitz Pastor, who will be serving as a student rabbinic intern with us throughout the year.
Janine is entering her final year at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. She has worked as a student rabbi in several different capacities, including Hillel, chaplain, and has served three pulpits. She was a 2018 writing fellow for State of Formation and has been published on and offline including Ritualwell, The Wisdom Daily, and The Jewish Literary Journal.
She lives in Philadelphia with her husband Steven and their chihuahua Fitzgerald, where Shabbas and Saints football is central to their family life and home! Janine will be joining us at the Friday BBQ and service. Please join the rabbis in welcoming her to the synagogue!
