| Summary |
Nine days before Rosh Hashanah, on the 20th day of the Hebrew month of Elul, my beloved spouse completed six weeks of chemotherapy and radiation. We will now have a four week pause in treatment, time for him to regain strength and energy, time to exhale, if only for a moment.
As we prepare for the new year, we both want to thank all of you for your ongoing love and support which has raised us up through these tough times. We plan on being with you for Rosh Hashanah, when I hope to speak to you from the bima. I have seen many of you on zoom, but I have missed being with all of you.
I invite you to take some moments before or during our holidays to notice where and when you feel gratitude and to savor that feeling. It is good for the neshama, for the soul.
I wish each of you a sweet, happy, healthy new year. May it be filled with blessings and with good news.
