At our Hebrew school, we focus on five particular learning goals: learning and engaging with our story, appreciating our Jewish diversity, integrating key Jewish values, developing liturgical proficiency, and modeling an innovative and welcoming community.

About Our Hebrew School

Our school primarily meets on Sunday mornings with the exception of special BI Hebrew School Shabbat sessions 3-4 times during the course of the year. A typical Sunday morning will include tefillah (spiritual practice), Jewish studies, Hebrew (for our younger students in grades 1 and 2), and chugim (enrichment programming). In addition, students in grades 3 and up also meet virtually weekly to study Hebrew Liturgy (decoding and liturgy skills).

For all of our learning options we seek to create an environment that is engaging, interactive, and meaningful. We are continuing to evolve our curriculum so that it is relevant to the needs of today's students, while also rooted in key Jewish concepts and traditions. We welcome students of all races, genders, and socioeconomic backgrounds, and we work hard to ensure that our school is safe and healthy. Hebrew School Enrollment

Our Mechina (PreK) and Gan (Kindergarten) class is open to the public. Classes beyond these are available to members. We look forward to welcoming you!
